Captain Larry Kelley grew up fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast. Most of this time was spent in our beautiful Coastal
Bend area. While fishing every chance he could, at the age of forty, Larry decided that it was time to make his
dream come true. This was the time in life when Larry went back to school to complete his United States Coast Guard
Licensing. With his U.S.C.G. license, and his Texas Parks and Wildlife license, Captain Larry could now open the
Coastal Water Guide Service so that he could share with his customers the beauty of fishing and exploring our great waterways.
As a full-time saltwater fishing guide, Larry specializes in working hard to find his customers the finest redfish and
trout fishing in the Coastal Bend area. For those who just want a great day on the water, our area provides many
scenes of beauty. Captain Larry is a proud former member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association and a
former member of the National
Association of Charterboat Operators (NACO). Larry Kelley believes we all have a part in the preservation of our
waterway, and he will do his part so that our children will have them as they grow into our adults of tomorrow.
